Jude 1:3

Jude 1:3 "Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this chapter was let us contend earnestly for the faith.

2 Peter 3:18

2 Peter 3:18 "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity.  Amen."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this chapter was let us grow in grace and knowledge.  Luke 2:40 is a cross-reference, "The Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him."

2 Peter 2:2

2 Peter 2:2 "Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this chapter was don't let us malign the way of truth.  Ezekiel 36:20-21 serve as a cross-reference, "When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD; yet they have come out of His land.  But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went."  The word profaned is used in vv. 22-23 as well.

2 Peter 1:6 "and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this chapter was let us persevere in godliness.  1 Timothy 4:8 is a cross-reference, "for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come."

Jude 1:2

Jude 1:2 "May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this chapter was may mercy and peace be multiplied to us.  Galatians 6:16 is a cross-reference, "And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God."

Psalm 119:65

Psalm 119:65, "Those who love Your law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this passage was let us love your word and avoid stumbling.  A cross-reference was to Isaiah 63:13, "Who led them through the depths?  Like the horse in the wilderness, they did not stumble."  Just before that verse in Isaiah there seemed to be a distinction between grieving the Holy Spirit and honoring the Holy Spirit in their midst.  We should protect the glory of God and not stumble.

Psalm 119:54, "Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this passage was redeem us and revive us.  A cross-reference was to Ruth 4:14, Then the woman said to Naomi, 'Blessed is the LORD who has not left you without a redeemer today, and may his name become famous in Israel."

Psalm 119:97

Psalm 119:97, "O how I love Your law!  It is my meditation all the day."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this passage was let us love the Word and meditate on it.  A cross-reference is Joshua 1:8 a, "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night..."

Psalm 119:77

Psalm 119:77, "May Your compassion come to me that I may live, For Your law is my delight."  May KEY PRAYER POINT from this passage was let us live aware of Your compassion.  A cross-reference is Deuteronomy 30:3, "then the LORD your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you."
