2 Peter 1:4

2 Peter 1:4 "For by these He has granted us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust."  My KEY PRAYER POINT from this chapter was let us be partakers of the divine nature.  A cross-reference from that is Hebrews 12:10, "For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness."
